My boyfriend seems to only want to talk about himself. He is currently out of town for a few weeks. Yesterday, I was chatting with him on messenger. He talked about some classes he was taking...blah blah....Then I interjected that my dad has been really sick, which my boyfriend already new about, but never asks about. He responded," I wish I was there for you." I wanted to talk about it more. He wrote,"call me when you get home and we'll talk about it." Then he went on blabbing about himself some more and how he'd received a job offer. I just clicked out of messenger, but he kept sending messages...all about himself. he didn't even realize i wasnt there. Is he a total jerk?
