| My husband has just spent £350 on new clothes on himself, for our daughters wedding and wont give me a penny to get something for my self. I am so angry, I'm spitting. He's the tightest piece of sh** I've ever come across. 22 yrs of counting every penny that is spent this swine is laughing at me knowing that I will have to go to my mum AGAIN cap in hand asking for money. The fact that my daughter and fiance has paid for their own wedding, with no help from us. I hope he drops dead then I'll spend every penny and have a whale of a time, the only tears shed will be ones of laughter. You cant take it with you no matter how bloody perfect you think you are. |

I would be so pissed, your daughter should talk to him and make him feel bad or at least guilty. Your mom should smack him the head.. Does your mom usually come through with money when he does not? This would make my blood boil!!! |

| Thanks Tina, but he knows damn well neither would say anything to him. He acts like butter wouldn't melt in his mouth. I just got a dress and jacket in the sale for absolute pittance and it looks real classy, so when I'm asked about it I will honestly say that my mum got it for me and watched him squirm.

I can so relate.. Every-time I buy something I have to lie and say my mom bought it or a friend gave it to me, but of course when he buys something for himself he does not have to provide a lie or an excuse.
Good for you that you got something that looks nice. I truly don't think men understand how stupid they are, we don't ask for much, but they can't even pull through on the little things. Have fun at your daughters wedding, at least your marriage produced her, so all is not a loss!! |

| Your Welcome. I am glad to hear that you got something nice for yourself. I myself have to hide things when I buy stuff even when I pay with my own money. I feel like I am in prison sometimes. I wait until falls asleep and then go get the stuff i bought out of the trunk of my car. I have to take all the tags off so he wont notice and if i do get caught, I just say, " see what my mom bought me, do you like it." He gets mad and walks away. One day I will be strong enough to find someone normal, if there is such a thing. Love 23 you are not alone in this, we all experience the same things with men, I wonder if they know we cant stand them 75% of the time!! |

| When you buy new things, tell your husband that your " sugardaddy" bought them for you, maybe he will get the hint that you don't like his cheapness and if he continues you will find someone that will treat you right... |
